We got Zeke's first school picture yesterday. Forgive me for playing the proud parent, but I can't even deal with how cute this kid is...
I just crack up at the notion of a 5-month-old baby lounging in a wicker chair like he's getting ready to drink a mint julep (virgin, of course) on some porch in Nantucket, with boats going by in the background. Such a little man of leisure.
I think it's the way he's sitting. One of the many things I love about his school is that they seriously change his diaper every hour. Which costs me a freaking fortune in diapers and wipes, but he never has diaper rash.
Zeke strikes me as more of the gin and tonic type.
ReplyDeleteI said it before and I'll say it again. He's ridiculously cute.
Ha! Love it. If he decides to follow in my footsteps and go to the University of Virginia, I'll make sure I teach him to hold his bourbon as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words, Annie, and right back at ya -- Walt is 47 different kinds of adorable.
That pictures, as they all are, is adorable. I got a gooey and squealed in the high-pitched voice I reserve for babies and small animals.
ReplyDeleteI love that cute facial expression! He looks like he's about to say something like "this wicker is so 1982....."
what a shnookie! i love the sailboat in the background...it matches the wicker well :)
ReplyDeleteHis outfit is also very nautical. Cute doesn't even begin to capture what this picture and your child are.
ReplyDeleteMy word! I just want to kiss his adorable little rosy cheeks like I do with my Beckett-boy.
Hilariously cute in the wicker chair!
ReplyDeletei am fresh out of clever right now, but for reals Zeke is just lovely.

Either he's packing like a real man or it was nearly time for a diaper change. Either way...HE'S SO FREAKING CUTE I COULD EAT HIM!
